TV Obscura - The Comic Strip (1987) Review

The Comic Strip (1987) synopsis: “The Comic Strip is an American animated series that features four rotating cartoon segments: The Mini-Monsters, Street Frogs, Karate Kat and TigerSharks. The 90-minute series ran in first-run syndication during the 1987 season. This was the last TV series produced by Rankin/Bass Productions, and distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures.”

This week on Podcasting After Dark presents TV Obscura, Zak and Corey review the 1987 cartoon anthology series, The Comic Strip! A show near and dear to Zak’s heart, but one Corey has zero familiarity with (outside of at least knowing that the TigerSharks existed). This makes for an interesting conversation filled with nostalgia on one side and fresh takes on another.
